Hermès Paris. 100% silk scarf, titled ' Louis XIV Ludovicus Magnus ', and signed by François de la Perrière.

On the yellow gold background of the scarf, we can count 9 compartments, in ivory tone background, and all ornamented with foliages in arabesques.

There, are placed the symbols of the royal power.

The main compartment, central, shows the king on his horse.

Two lateral are covered with attributes of war and victory: helmets, shields, quivers and swords.

Another compartment bears the military decoration of Louis XIV, and two smaller, the interlaced letters L crowned.

Some symbols are outside the compartments : Scepter and hand of justice, the trumpet of fame.

Without forget the principal symbol of Sun King, a stylized sun located at the top of the composition

A frieze of pelmets runs along the edges of the scarf.

The designer is François De La Perrière.

Issued only once in 1963, and no reissued
