Meissen porcelain , to use of candlestick, from the late 19th century, but realised after a mid 18th century model, certainly by JJ Kaendler. The group represents a little boy under a hollowed bush, holding a bird in his arms; The bush is largely flowered, with colored flowers whose petals are well separated each other. So this is a very elaborated porcelain work by the fact that all the branches et leaves were well dissociated, like in the reality. A very thorough work, requiring a high know-how of the operator as well as much time The object is in rococo style, particularly visible at the base, and on the handle, whose ribbed scrolls ornamented with foliages are characteristic of this mid 18th style. The subject is in nature colors, except the base which is in white underlined of gilt streaks, and the white collar, decorated with three little bouquets Very good condition of the object, whose it only misses, from here and there, some littles flower s petals, and some little pieces of leaves. But tere is no restoration nor stickingThe piece is signed under the terrace, with the stamp at crossed blue swords, under glaze, and numbered. This is a very fine Meissen that we certify authentic Height : 13,5 cm Weight : 233 grams
