ORIGINAL AUTHENTIC 4 ARMS JIELDE LAMP CREATED BY Jean-Louis DOMECQ IN 1953 Jielde lamp, with 4 deployable arms, created in 1953 by Jean-Louis Domecq, french designer. It is not useful to remind that this object is nowadays a must among the 20th design lighting, but ! Inscription on a plaque applied on an arm lamp : 'Jielde Lyon made in France étranger marque modèle déposé' Condition : Usuries, with oxydations, that our photos show well Articulations work well So, this lamp is in original condition, what is prefered by design amators, particularly because there are now reeditions of this model. She is neither polished, nor painted Arms have a lenght of 40 cm

Pair of eglomise crystal decanters, with a very nice and original form, excessively design, this design dating from the twenties. It really comes to a glass-blower work, in blown glass. The decanters show a checkerboard motive drawn on a sphere. The spheres are placed above a flat pedestal, linked to this foot by a thin ring, giving an effect of suspension in the air. The bottleneck is very retracted to express the spheric shape better. It is constitued by a cylindrical segment surmonted by the spout, drop shaped, exceeding all around. The caps, in shape of wide flattened sphere, seems to be detached from the body, as in suspension aswell. In very good condition, with no cracks, no chips, and no erasures. THREE CRYSTAL DISHES SIGNED BACCARAT - DESIGN FROM THE SEVENTIES Set of three crystal dishes, by Baccarat, the very famous french crystal's manufactory, known for the excellency of its work. They are in a very chic seventies design, elegant and sober. Square shaped, they are hollowed in their center, of a circular flattened bowl. They are in three dimensions and give, placed on a same table, a nice complement to the contemporary furnishing. They are signed by the Baccarat stamp, engraved by acid. In perfect condition with no cracks and no scratches. Dimensions : 7 cm in side, 1,7 cm in height. 10 cm in side, 2,2 cm in height. 14 cm in side, 2,6 cm in height. Total weight : 1,9 kg rends

SAUCIERE CYGNE CHRISTOFLE - DESIGN CHRISTIAN FJERDINGSTAD Saucière Cygne avec sa cuillère, en métal argenté GALLIA et CHRISTOFLE (éditeur) et Christian FJERDINGSTAD (designer) Poinçons Christofle et Gallia : Les 2 pièces (saucière et cuillère) sont frappées du poinçon OC (orfèvrerie Christofle) , et la saucière portent en outre les mentions " Prod. Christofle " et " Gallia " "France ". Epoque : Vers 1933 Longueur “développée” 29.5 cms Saucière : Hauteur : 6 cm, Longueur : 20 cm Cuillère : Longueur : 19,5 cm Le designer Christian Fjerdingstad (1891-1968) est d'origine danoise. Il expose ses premières pièces au salon d'automne de 1921, et l’un de ses premiers acheteurs sera Jacques Doucet. Peu après il est engagé comme collaborateur par la maison Christofle et devient l’un des principaux créateurs de l’entre-deux-guerres. En 1925, à l’Exposition des Arts Décoratifs, il occupe avec ses pièces d’argent massif la place d’honneur du pavillon de l’orfèvrerie Christofle. Les œuvres de Fjerdingstad sont alors placées au cœur de l’orfèvrerie de l’époque . Les créations de Fjerdingstad figureront encore au catalogue de la maison Christofle dans les années quatre vingt dix. Fjerdingstad est aussi un artiste indépendant qui développe de nombreux modèles dans son atelier de L’Isle Adam. Comptant parmi les chefs de file du renouveau de l’orfèvrerie, avec Georg Jensen, Gérard Sandoz et Jean Puiforcat, Fjerdingstad va utiliser un vocabulaire formel très novateur. La version première de cette saucière est présentée en 1925 à la Maison Christofle, et est alors en ambre et en argent. Cette pièce est tout a fait emblématique de la production de l’orfèvre, utilisant un vocabulaire formel très épuré et inspiré par l’observation de la nature (C. Fjerdingstad nourrissait une véritable passion pour l’ornithologie).
