Signed on the terrace, and titled 'Le devoir ", The duty

The artwork represents a very handsome roman centurion, in a proud attitude, high face, who seems to be giving orders to soldiers, extended arm and pointing his finger. 

Stamp of the famous bronze founder : Barbedienne-Leblanc, in the Second Empire period, middle of the 19th century

Very good condition. No misses nor cracks. Beautiful patina
