RUSSIAN HALLMARKED SILVERWARE - CHISELLED AND ENAMELED CHAMPAGNE FLUTE - MOSCOW - END 18th TO EARLY 19th Rare russian champagne flute, of silver, chiselled and enameled all around its faces Very nice shape, with a tall ringed leg on round base, topped of a cup divided in two parts: - A first level, of 8 curved ribs, , and over a second level, circular, that goes flaring at the top edge of the flute The base, as well as the two part of the cup, are finely chiselled of russian arabescs, underlined with niello.The outside and inside surfaces of the flute are treated with vermeil The flute bears four hallmarks (see late photo): -Town hallmark : Moscow, end 18th to early 19th century -Assayer hallmark : Nikolaï Lukich Dubrovin, circa 1830 Silversmith hallmark : H4 Control silver hallmark : 84 It is in very good condition Height : 17,2 cm Weight : 162 grams
